I am a recent graduate and am so excited to enter the fire fighting profession. I currently live in Toronto and have been applying almost everywhere. I have seen countless websites offering written cover letter and resume help. With all the options available I was wondering the following:

1.) I know you need both in order to apply to any city however, do they make or break your chances of being hired?
2.) What websites would you recommend that offer this service? Which are extremely reputable?
3.) Does the more money you pay, mean that you are getting a better written resume/cover letter?
4.) How can I make sure that both are not cookie cutters versions.

Obviously like anyone else applying, I want my resume to stand out and will do almost anything possible to get into a department. I apologize in advance for all my questions!
