I don’t know if he can handle a 16-game schedule. I know Jason can. I don’t know if he can produce like Jason has in the midst of a poor running game, bad OL play and craziness in the front office and sidelines. Jason has…

I’m not trying to paint a picture of Jason; like he’s some pro-bowl talent. And I’m not saying he does not have a lot of growing up to do - ’cause does and he’ll need more grooming to become a higher caliber starter in this league. But he is a legitimate starter considering his resume, something I can’t say about regarding Bruce G.

Again, I can’t agree with the “Exception in this case” rule that’s how Russell got the job. We need the best players on the field and that is determined by head to head competition. Not by what one guy did with another team, in another division, in another conference with different players and different coaches or where he was drafted.

Maybe I would agree if this was simple a beauty contest but it’s not. If Campbell comes in puts his nose into the play book, spends time at the facility, starts working with the Wr’s during the off season then there should be no reason that he will have prepared himself for the opportunity to “Earn” the starting position come opening day and the key word is “Earned” not “Anointed”.

You might not trust Grad but here are some facts, he comes in during the off season to work on improving himself, he has shown by his onfield performance last year that he can move this team and get points on the board. He is a guy that the offense knows they can trust. What has Campbell done to prove himself to a team or players he has never suited up with, that he has never showered with (in a non-gay way) has not shed blood with, has not gotten injuries with?

These are the intangibles that I want to see out of Campbell 1st. Your in the NFC East just as I am. You have seen him play just as I have, which surprises me why you have taken the position you have with anointing him.

He might just turn out to be another Aaron Brooks, did great with another teamed but failed miserable with the Raiders.
